DAY 1

Arrival in Santo Stefano di Camastra, a charming village overlooking the Aeolian Islands, whose delightful and colorful shops represent a true widespread museum of the island ceramic art.

Free lunch: Where you can taste the first typical local and seasonal products in many of the local restaurants.

Early afternoon (2.30 pm) guided tour of Fratantoni’s artisan workshop where it will be possible to observe all the various processes of ceramic production. The Fratantoni artisan workshop is a historic Sicilian company that has been dedicated to the manual production of terracotta objects since 1935. In the 70s he successfully experimented and patented, first, in Italy, the application of enamel and decoration to the lava basalt slabs of Etna, resuming the production of the typical majolica tiles, once the pride and joy of the ancient Stefanese tradition.

Late Afternoon: Enjoy the afternoon free to explore, wander around this charming town, visit local poterry shops.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2

After breakfast, mini tour Fiumara d'arte. It begins with The Matter Could Not Be There, then A Curve Thrown in the Wind and ends with Ariadne's Labyrinth, at Castel di Lucio. Here you can breathe the atmosphere of the authentic village that still preserves the artisan traditions of the past, such as that of weaving or engraving in stone.

The Provole, exported to all the Bel Paese, are absolutely to be enjoyed. Lunch included during the excursion. We proceed towards Mediterranean energy, a huge blue concrete wave swollen by the wind; a solid water sign on the mountain, like the sea we perceive on the horizon and Pyramid 38° parallel, an evocative place that represents at the same time a mathematical symbol and the reality of nature.
At sunset, we will reach the Monument to a Dead Poet, better known as Window on the Sea, another magical place where we will witness an unforgettable sunset.

Dinner and evening at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.
